Why we love our home and why you should too.
The rural forest location suits us really
well. It is quiet and the lack of traffic created by the
enclosed subdivision means the birds make more noise than the humans.
We have found the local people extremely friendly and helpful. Watching the dear, eagles, ospreys, herons and
kingfishers coming to our stocked fishing hole provides us with hours
of secluded pleasure.
The heated and screened pool means we can
swim year round and jump in the poolside Jacuzzi anytime we want.
The screened porches mean we can sit out
without being bothered by insects and watch our animals enjoying the
safety of the fenced yard.
The local golf course is only 3 minutes
away and shopping at Walmart etc. is within 10 minutes.

The
coast and sandy beaches are near enough (8 miles) to offer great days
by the Gulf of Mexico.
However, we feel we are far enough away
to be safe from the worst of hurricane threats.
Only 30 minutes away is Tallahassee, the
Capital of Florida with all the great shopping, sporting and
entertainment facilities.
When not playing golf, swimming or
relaxing in the panhandle paradise and work or maintenance calls, the
800+ square foot workshop and large pole barn are really handy to
enjoy.
So why, do you ask, are we selling our
gorgeous home? Well it is like this: We are British and
have lived in the Florida panhandle for the last 20 years but it has
come time to retire and go home to be near our children,
grandchildren and elderly parents.
If we were just 40 years old again you
would not get a chance to live in our little bit of heaven.
